WHO WE ARE
AYINA THINK TANK is a research, advocacy and training center on social innovation, parenting and peace which is funded by the Amani Institute Alumni, Rotarian Damien Mouzoun
WHAT WE DO
We deliver training and consultancy services to individuals, to groups of people, to companies (public/private) and to NGOs.
We believe in the power of human knowledge and through the spirit of collaboration to enhance our common creative intelligence.
An agora, a place where people from all walks of life can come together to explore fresh understanding and practical solutions to some of the most intractable (hard to deal with) problems facing our society.
1. Control that is gained by assertion of will power (code of behavior). Reason to determine the best course of action that opposes one’s desires. Virtuous behavior: Ones motivations are aligned with ones reasoned aims. Conscience; Moral sense of wrong and right, chiefly as it affect’s one’s behavior.
2. To step into the unknown and without knowing all the answers. To hold steady in the face of both the seductions and threats of the status quo. To stand up when others can’t or won’t.
3. There are experts on what was, there is no expert on what will be. To become an expert on the future, vision must replace experience. To see what is not and ask why not. To look beyond your position and identity to see what you can do. To set a new direction, for self, family, organization or community, and planet. To build and not just to critique. To scale the walls that stand in your way. To deploy not just skills and knowledge, but all parts of you.
4. Networlding is an art of making meaningful connections and leveraging those connections in new and powerful ways. Building relationships and opportunities for success. Passion for the community.
